Question on some markings
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures for you guys, but the animal in question does not belong to me.
The snake is a normal ball python, no doubts about that. But she has some interesting coloring. She is almost a black back, having only a handful of tiny spots along her back. She also has no black in her alien heads. All of her spots are a cinnamon color, as well as the top of her head.
I've been around this snake for 11 years now and never paid any attention to it. But last night we got her out and I was like :O. -lol- So then the question of breeding came up. I know for sure she is a normal, but if they were to breed her, is it possible that these markers would carry over? And which type of male would be best to pair her with?
She's a very pretty normal, so even if everything came out normal it would be worth it anyway. But the owners of the snake were just curious, and now so am I.
fun little factoid: The snake's name is "slivver". They got the snake for their son when he was very young, and he wanted to name her "slither" but couldn't pronounce it. :8:
Re: Question on some markings
There is a good chance of some type of carryover in markings, but nothing clone-like.
And if she looks like a Cinny, then go with a Cinny! :) Dark morphs are great things.
