humidity

how do i keep the humidity at a certain level? should i mist every day or just drill a few holes in the tubs and check to see if that is enough for ventilation but keeps the humidity at the right point. how often should you weigh your snakes for record keeping? and how do i setup a thermostat/hygrometer (just one) for ten tubs for juvies? help haha im kinda new still and have questions!

Do you have your tubs set up with the heat being controlled and the water dish in? Typically, when you've done this and allowed it time to stabilize, holes must be melted (or drilled) in because the humidity will be so high. I have never experienced having to mist a tub due to low humidity, and I live in a place with extremely low humidity ;)

As for temps/hygrometer, I don't believe there is anyway to set it up so that one unit measures all of the tubs! This would take something far different from a simple digital read-out unit. Also, it is advised to use a temp gun when using tubs.

As for weighing snakes, I typically weigh every months or after a poo, so that I can get a really accurate weight.
