    A "no good" food story
    Ick

Found a crispy burnt fiber that looked suspiciously like hair on my chicken sandwich at lunch ... *ahem* Let me reclassify that first unknown fiber as "suspiciously dirty down under hair" looking fiber.

I removed the small fiber, thinking perhaps it was something entirely different. I cautiously took another small bite around the edge of the chicken sandwich.

While chewing carefully, I decided I perhaps should review my sandwich just in case any more suspicious rogue fibers were left.

Found another fiber that definitely was classified as a dirty down under hair.

Folks, McDonald's is scary enough as it is... this I believe will be the final nail in the coffin for me and my McDonald's food adventures.

Care to share any horrific food stories?

    ewwww...

I have 3, one didn't happen to me though.

    First story

My husband and I took the kids to McDonalds. Got home with our food, my husband always checks our kids food before he gives it to them.

The chicken nuggets weren't even pre cooked. These were RED, and I mean like blood red in the middle. NASTY. We made pizza at home that night.

2nd. We go out to a (what we thought) nice mexican restaurant. We eat, my son got a cheese quesadilla (SP?). He got the ROTA virus and almost died. Long story short, someone didn't wash their hands before handling our food. My 13 month old son got so sick and dehydrated and was in the hospital for 3 days on IV's. He was so dehydrated they alsmost had to drill the IV into bone.
There were other reports of people getting sick after eating there too.

    3rd story.
My sister in law went to Carls Jr. Ordered a chicken sandwich, took two bites, and ended up with a feather in her mouth.
The worst part is, their friend gave them free food, so they really couldn't go in and complain, without getting their friend fired.

This is why small family run shops are the best places to eat. Polish or Italian deli's are my fav.

Holy cow I can't even imagine something like that! My condolences on that whole ordeal with your son... I would've been so mad.

Oh that is nasty! I feel had for you. My sister once bit into a generic Twinkie cake, only to find half of a dead, very large, cockroach inside! (and no, we did not have roaches in-house.) Yuckies! I would demand compensation for this kind of thing. Tell the manager or something; you don't deserve to be subject to something like that!
