    1st Pinkies Born!
Well, in case everyone doesnt know, I went to buy some feeders last week, 3 of which were extremely pregnant. The first mama dropped 9 pinkies, which we found this morning. I know it is not quite the same as breeding your own, but it was still exciting. They are so tiny, but in a month or two, that means buying fewer feeders, no to mention I still have 2 mamas that will drop any day now.

I am getting some ASF's at the Taylor MI show in June, so hopefully, with the 10 mice I have for feeders, the 3 mama's 9/x/x soon to be feeders, I wont need to buy any/many more before I have some ASF's going.

Now that I have these pinkies, I want to make sure they are ok with the other mice in the tub with them.

I have the 3 adult mice (mama and the other 2 prego's) in a tub that can hold about 10 mice, so they have plenty of room. Is it ok to leave the other prego mice in the tub with the mama and the pinkies? I expect that they were all impregnated around the same time, as they were all about the same size, so the other 2 should drop anytime.

Good luck with the mice... I chose to not deal with them because of the high rate of cannibalism.

Main thing with mice is to leave them alone as much as possible. Just go feed and water them and don't handle any of the babies. If you have a dark place to put their enclosure, they will do well there.
