May Photo Contests

Just a reminder folks that this month's Picture of the Month (POTM) theme is: Ball Python Morphs! All normal ball pythons (or normal-appearing hets) should be entered into the traditional BPOM contest, while all the morphs should be entered into the POTM for May. All other Contest Rules will still apply.

Particularly:

2. You may only enter one picture per contest.

11. Persons entering contests must be regular contributors to BP.net. This means a minimum of 15 posts in the last 30 days. This post-count does not include classified ads or “gallery posts” in which you post only to show pictures of your animals.

is there just one per month or multiple?

what about the categories?

ball pythons? herps in general? general photos?

1 contest a month with 3 different categories to choose from. You can enter 1 photo for each category.

BP of the month, Herp of the month, and Photo of the month.

BOTM is just Ball pythons. All balls go in this section.

Herp's of the month are any herps you have. (But BP's must go in the BP section.)

And POTM always has a theme to be captured. Like flowers, landscapes, furry pets etc...

Just for this month. It gives us a chance to highlight the beauty of "normals" too. So the BPOM contest will be all normal BP's (or normal-appearing hets) and the POTM will be morphs.

And y'all stay tuned for a special announcement about this month's contests coming soon. ;)

That's OK. Robin will just move it into the POTM folder when she validates it. ;)
