    Possible new snake tonight
Hope you all don't mind me joining in here? :)
I just found it on Craigs List for $40.
So far I've had good dealings there. She says it is an Albino Snow Cornsnake.
I wanted a small collection of 4 snakes. This will be my 4th.
I have 2 Balls & a Desert King. I don't even know what an Albino Snow Cornsnake looks like. I will post pictures when I get it. Tomorrow my Boy Friend will be over to Pop it & tell me if it's a boy or girl. Maybe you all can help me? I will have it in QT, but my question is, It's about 9" long. Should I put it in a 10 Gal.? Or straight into a 29 Gal.? BTW most of my rescued pets keep thier original names. This one is called Pinky. A snake this size, what should they eat? Pinkies or fuzzies?

I would put it in a 10gal and feed it pinkies. I think fuzzies would be way too big at that size! I've never heard of an albino snow. my guess would be that it's just a snow. i think when people say albino corns, they're usually talking about amelanistics.

Hmm... 9". At that size, I would put it into a 12qt tub. I had my new snow girl in a nice 10g tank for about a week before I saw her falling from the top all the time because she wanted to crawl around the lip just under the lid. Same thing with my Anery when she was in the tank. Now, I don't put corns into tanks until they're too big to get into that little space.

Oh, and as far as coloring Albino and Snow are two different morphs of corn snake. Albino is Amelanistic:

And Snow is white with either pink or yellow markings:

That's the snow that kept falling from the lip, BTW. :) Her name is Freya. The Amel is Apollo.

I still am trying to figure out resizing pictures.
Here is a bit of the story. The girl selling it is about 16 or 17.
Her Boy Friend bought it at Creature, Creature, Creature in Rhode Island. My sister says the reptiles are really nice there. They think it's a male, but not sure. My daughter thought it was adorable. It's so teeny! What do you all think? A Snow or Albino?
