    Healthy Weight?
Hey guys I want to start by thanking everyone on this forum for all their help so far helping me get my little snakey comfortable and healthy in her new home! She's doing great now, she's been eating like a champ, she's never bitten anyone and she's starting to really warm up to me and my girlfriend :)

Now I just have one question; What would a healthy weight be for a snake her size? She weighed in at 83g today (it's the first time I've been able to weigh her I just got a good scale last night) and she is about 19" long. I notice that she does have a little bit of a ridge on her spine. Well tonight is feeding night so we'll see how she takes it!

    Here's the newest pic I have of her (I think she's B-E-Autiful :))

I'll have some more pics of her soon and some of the enclosure as soon as I can upload them.
Thanks guys! Love you all :gj::D

what are you feeding her and how often. its normal to see a little bit of the spine as long as it doesn't become bumpy like you can see individual vertabrae you should be fine.

I'm feeding her a medium mouse every 5 days currently. You can't make out the individual vertebrae so she should be fine. Does she look healthy in the picture I put up? Thanks!

She looks quite healthy. A very pretty girl. :)

'Proper' weights for BPs are very hard to give, because each snake grows differently. My normal girl, a picky eater, is about a year old and only recently topped 400g, while my rescued pastel male, who was only 44g when I brought him home in Dec/Jan, is now over 120g and growing fast! As long as they're healthy and happy, shedding well, eating (fairly) regularly, and passing normal wastes then they're good to go. :)
