    Hatchling Hide Size - Help
Hi everyone... just have a small question, is this hide too small for a 1 and a half months old BP?? It is 3.55 inches wide and 1,5 inches tall. I cut a hole on top of it... sorry for the dumb question LOL but I had purchased a 6 inches one and I was told it was too big.

    Thanks!

For BP up to 250 grams I use 6 inches wide plastic flowerpot saucers

If your bp can fit in it, its not too big (unless its really heavy). If it touches all sides of your bp he will be happy and secure. I use flower pots and although the actual pot is still big enough for my bp, he is getting to big for the hole in the pots - he got stuck the other day trying to get out to fast for dinner time. His head and his tail were both in the hole, and of course he was too fat to move so I had to lift the hide off him. Time to make a bigger hole lol.

I zombie danced the rat outside of his hide and -WHAM- he tags the side of the hole of the hide!!!! Jeez- coulda knocked a tooth out!!!
