    marks on jaw
I had Hadiya out to clean her cage the other day, and before anyone says anything about me handling the snake while she is trying to rehab, I still have to clean her tank.

well, when i was looking her over to make sure she has no more ticks and such, I noticed two slashes on the under side of her jaw. They are red and scabbed over, right along the the underside of her jaw, where it stretches out when they are eating prey. I'm wondering if I should be worried about this, or if it will be ok and I should just keep an eye on it. I'll get pics when I can, but i don't want to stress her out too much since i have to hold her head still enough to get the pics.

Did you feed her something too big? When I was using rats, if one was a little too big, Vincent's mouth, underneath would be red, but it went away soon. As far as scabbing and what-not, probably will need a picture.

She's not cooperating on getting a pictures and i have no interest in stressing her out more. Hadiya has not eatten since before i got her, and this is a new thing so I do not know what it is.

I used to have an adult female ball once that ended up with the same marks under her jaw. They healed up fine. I was told she probably tried to escape and then managed to pinch herself.

She was in a rubbermaid at the time and did like to try to escape.

Maybe the same thing happened to yours ?

if you want, you might wanna apply some neosporin W/OUT painkiller in it. might help the healing process a bit :)
