Going out of town, Feeding question.
I'll try and make this brief. I'm going to Mexico!! :fest2::fest:

Feed day is usually on Monday for me, I'm leaving on saturday and coming home on wednesday. My Fiance's dad is coming to feed the cats and spray the snake tanks, but I don't trust anyone to feed them, especially since I feed them 2 mice a piece.

Should I just wait and let them skip a week? I'm sure they'd be super hungry if I did, as they are always waiting for me to feed them when I get home from work.

    Thanks in advance.

    :salute:

I'd try feeding a smaller meal early.
or If they are adults...they will be hungry but going an extra week won't hurt them.

Skip a week they will be fine, also I would not recommend feeding on the day you leave, last thing you want is something to happen while you are gone (regurgitation for example). I would recommend feeding on schedule.

When I go out of town the last meal is always fed at least 5 days before my departure.

If the snakes have never regurged before, why would they when you leave?

I mean the power could go out when your gone too, but should he get a generator????

    (dont hate me)

I would let them skip the week also...its certainly not going to harm them at all.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and let them skip a week. And yeah, they have never regurged. I pray the power doesn't go out, as I only have 1 UPS.

If I feed on saturday, it'll have to be at 5 in the morning, and I won't have the time for that. Thanks for the quick replies.

Better be safe than sorry, I would rather not feed before I leave than feed and have a regurgitation happen when I am gone.

A snake can skip a week even two without any problem.
