    Pics of the question
    Hi all,
A few days ago I posted a question to see if you guys thought that he was being aggressive. A few of you suggested that he was just ready to eat. He did it again so I snapped a few pics before I got him out, he does this when I start opening the top. Sorry they are not the greatest pics.

Do you think he's just ready to eat or being aggressive or stressed?

Thank you for looking! This forum has been so much help!!

It looks like he's being a snake. ;) Just feed him on a normal schedule and try not to sweat the small stuff. He might have a defensive personality which will make him hiss and get into a strike position more often, and he may grow out of that stage the more he's handled. But if not, don't get too concerned. Just be a little more careful when you take him out... :)

Your right, I should be thankful that he has never missed a meal!:)
And its not like he has ever hissed or struck at me.

Maybe he isnt getting enough! He eats an adult f/t mouse once a week. Is that good?

Where would I be without you all?! Thanks for putting up with newbies like me!!!

we were all newbies once, and some of us still basically are :P

how big/old is he? young Balls will eat as much as you give them for awhile - but that doesn't mean you should give them more.

age and weight (or girth) will determine the right prey size. once a week is plenty often.

I have a 100% het albino whos around 25 inches now but when i first got him he would do the same thing, get in the S and look like hes going to stike and he would hiss up a storm but, there just small and still not really use to people, just keep holding him get him use to you and being held but not to much, start at like 10 min a day or so and work from there, and trust me after getting bit you find out its not that bad haha good luck,

He is about 30" long and about 4" around his thickest point. I do not have any background info on him, which is why I am so cautious with him.
If you would suggest an age along with the correct feeding that would be GREAT!! Thank you!

do you have a weight on him?

1 adult mouse may be too small of a prey item, you could try 2, but im not sure. 30inches isnt very descriptive when it comes to these guys, especially if he was kept questionably before you got him.

:) but good luck with him.
