    Will she be OK?
My big het albino girl STILL hasn't managed to shed the old skin on her head, including her eye caps it looks like, since she shed on May 1st. I soaked her that afternoon, which removed all but the head piece, and put her back into her enclosure with the humidity still high (but nothing moist) for a while to see if she would work the rest off herself. No luck. I just finished giving her the damp pillowcase treatment and some more of the old skin on the base of her neck came off but nothing else. It's on there good.

So, will she be alright like that until her next shed? I hate to think that her vision is affected by the crinkled old caps or that her nostrils are blocked in any way(when I had her pull her head through the pillowcase, her breath whistled from her nose both times). She was nice and moist this time, and yet I couldn't get more than a few tiny pieces lifted off.

You've tried to do it by hand? That's what I had to do for Vincent's first shed. Worked for me. Just be very very careful around the eyes. But from what I'm told, they should just shed it off next time.
