    thermostats
    im getting a thermostat tommorow. does anyone know of any stores that carry them? i would order off of the internet, but i need it a.s.a.p. and dont have the money for over night delivery.

    Alife 1000 Watt Reptile Remote Sensor Temperature Controller

    and does anyone have this thermostat? if so, how do you like it?

    So, http://www.spyderrobotics.com/products/index.html sells Herpstats and gets the product to you really fast.
    Also, Rich at http://www.reptilebasics.com/Thermostats-p-1-c-250.html will get a Herpstat to you pronto.
    I highly recommend these two places and these two t'stats.
    As always, you get what you pay for ;)

    Though the Alife is better than others like it, I'm with Starmom. Talk to Rich or the guys at SpyderRobotics and see how long it would take to get a thermostat to you. You DO get what you pay for and in this case it can make a big difference.

    thanks alot for the advice. after looking through those sites i found a reasonably priced johnson controls thermostat and it would be here within two days. :)
