Temp Probe, where do you put it?
I was wondering where you guys put your temp probes for your t-stats?

I've been putting mine pretty close to the surface of the substrate, should I keep it down closer to the UTH? I've got like 1.5" of substrate down to help keep the humidity up, I don't want the heat to be lost through it.

Right on the glass, under the substrate. That was I know the hottest possible spot by bp has access to is 91 degrees, and just above that is a degree or two less. Mind you, I don't use substrate anymore - I use Scott Shop Towels.

My Herpstat probe is taped right on the UTH pad. Has been working great. :)
