What type of carpets are you getting? I have my bredli set up different than my Irian jayas, which are set up different than my coastals

I'd suggest you decide what adult size you'll be able to handle.

My bredli's are in a 45G aquarium with a plexiglass divider and a plexi top, two red lights and on a thermostat. There are a couple of pvc perches. My male spends almost all of his time on the perches. The female will often ground in her hidebox and then come out at night. This will last them for maybe another year, when I'll have to look at something bigger. THey will top out between 7-9ft and about 4" diameter.

If you're going to go with AP cages, check out the "Carpet Python" cage under specialty cages. I like that it has a shelf and then with a RHP installed you'd be set.

Keep in mind that a baby will be happier in a tub for the first year or so, while they get a big bigger.

I don't have pictures of the 10 gallon tanks I had set up for them when they were babies but I just set up my second Boaphile for my year old female Irian Jaya. They are both now in the 422D's (4' x 2' x 18"), heated with radiant heat panels. I love them!
