    Help!!! Mouth Rot
Just noticed that one of my females has mouth rot. She hasn't eaten in like 2 or 3 months as she is pregnant so I am not sure how she got it.

what do I need to do to fix her up?

A vet. I noticed mouth rot in my baby male and was hoping it would go away on its own, but it just kept getting worse. I believe there are a few things you can do to rinse the mouth out and swab the infection but anti-biotics via injection worked within one week for me. Hope all goes well for you, my full vet bill was $90 and well worth it.

There are often underlying causes to mouth rot which is another reason a vet is your best option.

took her to the vet and then gave me some drugs for her. said something about it could possibly be tumor but very rare for it to happen. Will see how she is in a week.

Also told them she was pregnant so they took her back and X-rayed her to find out she has 7 eggs that should be coming out soon :). Im soo pumped that I'll be father. LOL

How are you giving the meds? Orally or injection? If through injection, how did your vet instruct you to give the meds since she is going to lay soon?

They gave me two separate injections. One everyday and the other one is every 72 hours. I inject them in the first 1/3 of her body usualy a fingers-width from her spine.

That was what I had to do for my male normal for 1 month, I was just wondering if it would be any different because she had eggies coming.
