    Pat yourself on the back
As said by a forum member here

    Quote:

Indeed the internet is full of conflicting information about feeding, temps, enclosure size, handling and everything else. As a newbie I have found this site to be a place where people are welcoming and willing to help one another. There is also much less elitism and latent hostility that can be found elsewhere.
I've found this to be startlingly true lately.
I have to hug each and every one of you that get online, come here and go out of your way to treat everyone you meet here with the same courtesy and respect you would expect in return. :gj:

I love how there can be debating, without personal attacks. Whether that subject be politics, religion, or snake husbandry. :gj:

There's enough humbleness, kindness and common courtesy here that makes me always come back the next day.

Even when we get stressed out over a thread, we walk away, read others comments, and generally keep things from turning into an all out piss fight. (I say GENERALLY, because sometimes this isn't the case, but is usually a direct result from something that happens on other forums).

People can disagree here, and usually agree to disagree at some point. Without too much blood shed. :gj:

Newbies come to ask questions and will receive a multitude of answers. From old pro's, intermediates, or other newbies alike. :gj:

I think the welcoming atmosphere in this forum has given this place a strong edge over over forums. :gj:

A kind word goes farther than a snide remark. ;)

    Good job peeps!

I agree! I love this forum, tho I haven't posted much... I've learned so much reading everyone else's posts. By far, the nicest and most helpful forum I've been to! Thanks again guys!

I will definitely agree that this is probably the best herp site I've come across. Most people do tend to get along pretty well, and there's so much information sharing. I've learned a TON.

But I don't agree that it's all sunshine and daisies like you made it out to be. I have seen quite a few threads turn really ugly. I hate seeing stuff like that, and I've commented on it a few times. I usually get laughed at for it. It's very unsettling to be berated because I'm trying to keep things civil. :(

    Just my opinion.

I think they put something in the link (Maybe a super caffeine or hot sauce or something highly addicting) but personally I cannot get enough of this place!

    *****barf*****

Just kidding. It's just a regular love fest in here. That's probably why I am not around much. I like to have a little conflict with my forums.

To each his own. Carry on lovebirds.:banana::P
