    new rescue pickup
thru a friend of a friend got a new rescue.... It is 5 years old. Not sure of the sex. It is so strong, I just couldn't getting any results from trying to pop it. My guess is a male. Will try to get it probed this weekend. It is weighing in at 1650 grams.

Anyways, I couldn't believe the setup it was in. 55 gallon tank with wood half round hides. EXTREMLY dry and dusty Pine chips for the substrate, and it was at least 6 months old... infared light over the top... and the UTH... ah yes, the UTH. The 3 inch X 6 inch UTH hooked directly up to the power!!!! I can't believe that BIG snake lived as long as it did in such a HUGE tank... with such a TINY UTH!

Remarkably, he is in perfect condition though. no left over sheds, no eye caps, no burns. It is a georgeous snake. will try to get a pic on here as soon as he has some time to get used to his new setup.
