    What to do...
Now that I have a payment on a black pastel, I think I want to go albinos.

I have a few choices, get on adult albino male plus one or two adult het females. OR Two albinos, both being in the 600 gram range. Im leaning on the hets, but I always love what you guys have to say on things( and reasons) like this:)

I'll have the money in a month, so it also depends on availibility. If nothing pops up then at daytona maybe one or two will.

i would go for the Adult male and 2 hets... first year you can produce albinos. not only that but you can keep all the females back and sell the males ( this will fund other projects)

now if you breed the male albino to another morph you can keep back a male and breed it to the het albino female that is already up to size..

It isn't cheap to keep snakes particularly if you buy your rodents instead of breed your own. I would get 1.1 Albino straight up. Now you are producing all Albino babies. You don't have to deal with the het issue. Also you can hold back a female every now and then and possibly add an additional male occasionally. Pull out one here and there for other dinker projects! Cheaper in the beginning and generally when you start breeding them they will be paying for themselves!

    :PWell... Its 50/50

I like both ideas, being able to produce my own albinos this season, or waiting and not have to deal with hets. Albinos got me into ball pythons so its a hard choice. Glory, I breed my own rodents, so any new additions are only limited to how much space I have. Im pretty sure that im just going to wait, and once I have the money in hand i'll go looking and see what pops up:taz:

That is what my wife and I do. Once we have money saved up whatever comes up that floats our fancy is what we get! We have things we continually say we want to get, but generally something else we like pops up at a good price!

    2 albinos = 1.1?
I would probably say go that way (if that's what you meant), unless you would just rather have the hets
