Any golfers out there?

I have been playing for almost 8 years now, about a +1 index.
I am in my senior year at the University of La Verne. We are a Division III school, but are going to nationals in Georgia next week.
We finished 2nd at nationals last year, it was the only tournament we lost.
Hopefully we can improve on last years finish ;).

Anyone else torture themselves by playing this masochistic game?

You know, that's funny you mention the masochistic side of it. I used to play a lot in high school, then suffered a bad martial arts injury in college and so had to stop golfing.

Now 5 years later I was thinking of getting back into it. But I remember how nerve wracking it used to be....and the harder you try, the worse it gets.

Depends on what you call a 'golfer'... I'm pretty sure my best score was +15ish on a 9 hole course! I need to get out there more this year! We'll see!

My Uncle is a Professional golfer on the PGA tour!!! :gj:

I have a 10 handicap and been golfing for awhile.
Weather in Chicago has been goofy lately but still manage to squeeze in a 9 hole...lol

I try to get out and get in 18 holes every sunday or monday,sometimes both and occasionally a quick 9 before work weather permitting!!

I love golf, it's one of the few things I do horribly, but enjoy immensely.

I dont play tourneys or anything, but I enjoy a few holes err now and then
