City snake!!!

Found this lil guy while cleaning th yard. Kept biting me the whole time I held him!!

Yep,
I'm in the heart of Rockford. The other house I was in would have 20-30 wintering in my basement. Being a sucker I was feeding them when they first started coming out of the walls in the spring. I know most women would move immediately if they saw several snakes in the basement. The only sad thing was they would crawl under the dogs for warmth and get smished. I was having to sweep up the corpses of the unlucky ones.:(

Yes he flung it everywhere and most landed on me. Then after I cleaned up I went to give my tort Tut his meds and now have smelly urates all over me. Just what I needed was multiple baths!
