I think he's shedding, tips on shedding please.
I just noticed yestarday night that my BP started to have kinda darker not as see through white eyes. Now they're turning kinda blue, I think this means that he's about to shed his skin. I've never seen or experienced a snake shed before. I've read that I have to have the humidity up.

But I can't keep it above 60% unless I sit there and spray it every half hour or hour. I currently have a black/blue night light on all day because the other bulb burns the humidity right out of the cage.

The heat in my cage is perfectly regulated and it's got perfect degrees, but the humidity is horrible. I have a glass vivarium and I have a humid hide and a book obove the cool side of the cage with the black/blue night ligt on the other side.

I spray as much as possible but whenever I get home from work or school the humidity will always be down to 39%. Then I start spraying like crazy and it'll go back up but I can't keep it at a steady Humidity for a period of time. I'm only saying all of this because I know how important it is to have a good humidity for a healthy shed.

Any suggestions or anything I should know about the shed? When will he shed now that his eyes are blue. Should I feed him in 2 days(his feeding day)? When should I feed him? Can I pick him up after shedding?

    If he eats feed him.
Put a moist towel over the the top your cage.
Should be fine to handle them if you need too.
Should shed in 2 or 3 days if conditions are right.

60% humidity ought to be fine for a perfect shed. Keep moss (or something) in both of his hides so at least they will stay nice and humid even though the rest of the tank wont.
Your snake will stay in blue for a few days and then will look normal for a few days and then will shed.
I always offer my snakes food (on feeding day) and let them decide if they want to eat; they typically will.
Good luck. Enjoy the process. Keep the hides humid. I bet it will go well!
