Is it ok to feed my whites a pinky once a week?
Should I feed him one a week or not? He used to eat crickets, but now he likes mice. He will still eat crickets but he really likes these. Also Is it too big for him? He didn't seem to have any problems.

I know the cage is small but its temporary.

Insects are better for him. The occasional mouse, every 2 or 3 weeks, is fine. I kept them for years and fed almost exclusively crickets, giving them pinks, but two or three for each adult, every few weeks.
They don't get a whole lot of meat protien in the wild.
You could try cockroaches too.
Also, gutload your feeder insects and your frogs get nutrition that way too.
