Anyone going to the SWHS show?

Picked up this flyer last week at a local reptile store:

Anyone heard about it/going? It's only 20 minutes from where I live; in fact I go hiking around Eaton Canyon all the time.

I hadn't heard a thing about it. The SWHS is an odd society. I was a member for years back in the Long Ago.

It may be worth checking out if their numbers are up as far as membership.

If you do go, take some pics please.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going, I don't have any plans that day yet. If I do go, I'll for sure take pics, though I won't attest to having any skill with a camera.

Reading the flyer carefully, it says exhibit with workshops & displays. It might not be the kind of show that is designed primarily to sell animals. It still sounds interesting, admission is inexpensive, and you live very close. Go and take pics and let everyone know all about it!

I had joined that herp society years ago, it is probably the members showing there animals and selling there stuff, they have great deals on books. I doubt I will go.

I don't think they sell anything at all there. The ones back in The Day, were just displays for public edumatcation and for the members to get together and show off their stuff.

It was fun back then but the membership was larger and quite a bit more diverse than it is now, or was a year or so ago at the last meeting I went to.
