Clutch #5 came on Sunday from a Normal X Fire & Pin...Seven Fertile eggs and a slug today...Ive never had a slug a day later is this common?

I've never had a slug later than the rest of the clutch either... I don't know.

Congrats Kevin! As for the slug. Thats why I palp all the females after they lay. I had one lay a slug 3 hours after I took her of the clutch 2 years ago.

I have heard of slugs before, like multiple days before, but not after no.

Good lookin eggs! May the force be with you on those!
