Are there any artists out there? (tattoo)

I am looking to get a large mermaid tattoo on my calf.... no colors. just black ink with shading... going to go from my ankle to just below my knee. Can't find a decent one online ANYWHERE! anyone want to share their artistic talent to help a man out? The winner gets their art worked PERMANENTLY tatooed on my leg!!!!

i can't imagine anyone wanting to do the work for no compensation... that's for sure!

Find a tattoo artist whose work you really like, then talk to the artist about your idea and they will put it on paper for you... That IS part of the job of being a tattoo artist. They draw up the ideas and once you approve of the drawing, apply the ideas to skin...

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. I am looking for someone interested in it for the fun of designing a new picture... Have already gotten a few PM's so thanks everyone!

Yeah....I graduated, so now this is my career. No more pro bono stuff for me.

I took your advice, and with a little input from me, the dude made the most incredible looking mermaid I have ever seen. EXACTLY like I have been dreaming of for years.

I will post a pic... going to get her done Tuesday night. :8:

Awesome. Glad you went that route. Going to a tattoo artist with your idea also insures that the artist draws up something that not only looks cool, but will stand the test of time also... Can't wait to see the pics!
