Entire Hovabator as an Egg Chamber?
Has anyone ever used the entire hovabator as an egg chamber instead of placing a seperate box inside?
I was thinking for the next clutch due after these hatch to fill the entire bottom of the hovabator with medium, place the screen on top of that, and place the eggs on the screen, leaving enough of a space between the eggs and heater.
Any idea if this would work?

Dunno if that will work or not - but I've heard of far more failures with hovabators than successes.

It actually works quite well if you have a good thermostat. Put your probe underneath the screen and it should work fine. Mine stays at 95% humidity and 89 degrees.

Note: I wouldn't suggest this with ANY turbofan model.

It works. Just by pass the heat elimate with a helix. It takes some adjusting but it will work. Would I do it again? NO WAY!
