    T-stat blues
My t-stat came in the mail about 4 days ago and I really must say, it was not worth 20 cents, let alone the $20 I payed for it, PLUS shipping  After setting it up and trying to maintain a temp of 89-92 (under the substrate) I found that this "thermostat" was no better than a cheap dimmer. The temp would go anywhere from 82-98+ degrees...without any tweaking (after initial set up, of course):O. Needless to say, I am back to using my dimmer for now, until I have the funds to get a reliable t-stat. My $13 dimmer is more reliable, and safer for my snake, than that piece of garbage t-stat. :rage:

Sorry for the rant....had to get that off my chest:rolleyes:

Herpstat or Helix is the only way to go.
You get what you pay for.
