I don't think snakes ever stop growing. I think they slow down to a rate that is very small eventually, but never completely stop as long as they keep eating enough to sustain and grow. (Granted small may be measurements down in the millimeters!) Also I don't know if all ball pythons have a standard size gene. Some may be full grown well before 60 inches, but others could possibly get longer!

reptiles never stop growing, they grow throughout their lives until they die. So there really isnt a specific adult size but weight, they will reach sexual maturity at around 1000 to 1500 grams or about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old for females, males in 6 months and at around 500g males are typically smaller then females but not in all situations or reptiles, and reptiles will grow an the amount of food they can catch or receive. because bigger animals require more food to sustain themselves. so they grow at the rate of food intake, take two bp at same size, weight, and enclosure, feed BP (a) one rat every week of appropriate size and feed BP(b) same but every 3 weeks. BP (a) will grow and mature much faster than BP(b)...lol hope that helps haha
