What do you think about this normal?
What do you think of its pattern? In the ad it says that the poor thing was born with only one eye and is named pop eye :P

Nice looking snake and pretty normal pattern.

I wish I could see the head more clearly.

But from what I can see it just looks like a very beautiful normal with light coloring. Maybe even a classic jungle, but I would have to see the head before I went one way or the other with that.

Either way it's a gorgeous snake!

Would having only one eye cause any troubles later on? Especially while breeding?

    I honestly couldn't tell you.

I would have to say I doubt it would have a tremendous effect on the snake feeding or breeding, but I could be wrong.

I personally don't have any snakes with only one eye, so I can't speak from experience.

If i got a one eyed bp that was not eyeless from an accident I wouldn't breed it, period! it is not a good idea to introduce such genes into the breeding pool. it may have issues seeing prey on the one side, especially if someone feeds it FT that are not warm enough to heat sense... I don't think a pet snake would ahve many issues with only one eye, but one in the wild would probably not last long.

I think you have a beautiful snake! However, I have to admit I'd be reluctant to breed the animal if the one eye was born that way, and not from an accident. I would certainly take that beauty home as a pet, though!
