    Popping..?
Not sure where to put this thread...
    Anyways...
I have been reading articles on distinguishing the gender of snakes.
So I understand there is probing and popping.
I don't plan on doing either since I am unexperienced.. but wanted to know more.
I just wanted to know if popping hurts the snake and does this have any effect on their organs?
I just look at it as if someone were to push on my abdomen I would not be too happy lol

    Thanks

Well, when they popped Charon he didn't seem to notice so it pobably doesn't hurt them if one does it correctly (I say "one" because "you" wouldn't sound right), but if one does it the wrong way it could harm the snake and its organs. Popping is usually done on small baby snakes (baby burms are not what I consider "small baby snakes" because like many bigger snakes they're pretty long as babies compared to other hatchling snakes).
