    a friend's leopard geckos
a buddy of mine has a two leopard geckos that he's gotten bored of after owning them for almost a year. they're around a year old I would say. he wants me to take them off his hands and I'll gladly do so. but I was wondering how often to feed them, and which food is better for them. if anyone could give me any links for some good sites would be awesome.

    thanks.:)

For adults I keep a dish of mealworms in the enclosure at all times. Once per week take out uneaten mealworms and replace with gut-loaded worms, letting the uneaten worms chow down on your gut load (oatmeal, cornmeal, pieces of apple, carrot, etc. for moisture). Feed other insects like crickets, feeder roaches, phoenix worms and/or silkworms twice per week or so as a supplement to the mealworms. Also keep a dish of clean water available and a dish of calcium for the geckos to eat as they need it.
