Henna preview - What do you think?
I just had this done today, so the paste is still there, but this is sort of what I want as a real tat. Of course it would be much cleaner and more defined as a tat. It's a BP...

So... comments?? She made the nose a bit short and the tail a bit long, but that's not bad for free-hand drawing a new design.

Do ya think I should 'keep' it?

Oooh pretty. The pic is a bit blurry, but all in all it looks very nice.

 Sorry about the glare and blur... it's hard to take a picture of your own leg in a darkened room. I'll try for a better one tomorrow.

Thanks for the comments thus far, tho, blur and all. :)

I like it. too bad real tattoos couldn't be as glittery as the pic shows the henna to be. :D Im such a girl when it comes to sparkly stuff :P. Was thinking of getting a few new tats myself, a bp or corn snake being one of them. hhhmm... off to the drawing board.

And yes, def, need more pics.

Yeah, I loved the glitter as well. She put it on so it would look nice while the paste set. :) It's in the pale muddy orange phase right now, but I'll get some nice pix once it darkens up.

Also, as a nice bonus, I got this done yesterday (yes, it's on the other leg):

Done using surgical adhesive and glitter and painted on freehand. That woman is good. :)

Pretty cool I was thinking about getting my BP tatted on me..
This would be a good way to "test drive" the tattoo so to speak. Yeah nice if they only had the glitter tatts that would be sweet..

Nice work cant wait to see the better pic:gj:

Henna is a great way to test drive. I have had a specific tattoo in mind for several years ago, and I had it done in henna last year. Th e woman ended up making it a lot larger than I wanted, but I still liked the effect. Btw if you didn't know if you tan around the henna, you will have the design in reverse until your tan fades :)

Constructive criticism here, but I really like it.

    It looks like a Boa.

If you really intend to get a tat of an animal you want on your body for ever, I would suggest bringing photos in or even the animal itself for true comparison.

Its a great idea, and I like the colors :)

:) Yep, knew that. But it's kinda hard to get a tan when it's overcast everyday.

Anyway, here's the pic without the paste:

I know that one is kinda blurred as well, but as I said; it's hard to take a picture of your own leg. :) I have decided to get this basic design done as a permanent tattoo...once I have the money to spare.

Oh, and I know it looks like a boa. :) The henna lady did that freehand from a photo and had never done snakes before. I fully intend to have a picture all drawn out with the tat artist before anything is set in stone.
