    First clutch of the season!
My lovely girl Ashe laid me a nice clutch of 8 eggs last night, 26 days after her post-ov shed. All look fertile when candled so my fingers are crossed!

    Are there eggs under there?

Yes, yes, tell us who the baby daddy is? (Forgive my bad grammar). Also, congratulations!

    Thanks all! :)

I am not revealing the baby daddy at this time. It's a little dinking-type project. :D

That's fine- a girl can have her secrets!! :P
How does everyone manage to get the bundle of eggs from the tub (or cage) to the incubator without them tearing away from each other?

I just kind of scoop them up gently (and they stick together fairly well really)--this clutch was easy because they were in a nice, neat pile. I had a clutch before that was 10 eggs all spread out but still stuck together--I had to get my husband to help me pick it up because my two hands couldn't get them all! I also had to use a larger tub because they wouldn't fit in something this size (15qt) without being torn apart.
