    Help Please!
Hello everyone this is my first time here on this site :)
I have a ball python and he is eating fuzzies now! My problem was that today I was feeding him and he busted the guts out of the fuzzy. I was freaked out and needless to say he didn't eat. I had to thaw out another one and feed him again! Now my problem is that when he busted the guts out of the mouse he got it all over himself and I think it smells like rat guts! Is there a way to clean a python without freaking them out? Is there a bath solution that they have? Any help would help thanks

Sounds like you over did it when you thawed it out. You can wipe him off with a damp paper towel, or if it's not near his head you can use a weal chlorahexadine solution to wipe him down, than give him a rinse. I'm sure there are other things you could use, like those commercial reptile sprays, but I don't have any experience with anything like that.

This happened to me a few weeks ago.
Just make sure you remove any substrate and wipe down any surface the guts may have touched. You can wipe him down as noted above. Even if your BP is annoyed with you cleaning it, it needs to be done.
