Whats your temp gradient?
I've always wondered what the different temp ranges were that people have been successfully keeping bps at. I know that many people use temps that fall outside of the 82-84 cool and 92-94 hot.
I personally find myself using two different temps in the summer and winter. Mostly because of my current living situations but none the less they work for my snakes.
Summer
80-82 cool, 90-92 hot
Winter
78-80 cool, 90-92 hot
Whats your gradient?
Re: Whats your temp gradient?
cool 80-85, ambient low 80s, hot 90-92 :)
Re: Whats your temp gradient?
78-80 and 90-92 except when breeding.

80 cool side 90 warm side:gj:
Re: Whats your temp gradient?
Summer: 94-95 hot, 84 cool, ambient in room 80-83
Winter: Big rack cools down to 80 cool/85 warm for 16 hours, back to 95/84 for the remainder. Ambient in room is 77-81 depending on if the heater was needed or not. Smaller racks(32/16qt and 6qt baby racks) are constant at 94-95 warm and 82-84 cool.
All of mine ate throughout winter except for one 900g female who I bought in December. She's not in the snake room and is just in a 32qt tub on the floor.
Re: Whats your temp gradient?
I have the Hellix set to 92, gives about an 89 on the hot, and 80 on the cool
