switching sides?

    switching sides?
    usealy my bp stays on the hot side but for the last 2 nigths he has been staying on the cool sides hide. the temps seem to be the same. is there a reaosn why they would do this?

    thermoregulation(sp) buddy. Thats what they do. I wouldnt worry too much. How long you had you snake and what are the temps.

    ive had it for 9 days now i tried to feed him yestoday and he took it tried to swallow but then spat it out i think it was a bit to big. i kno about Thermoregulation but do they stay on one side for that long? or is it sappose to be a constant movement?

    Maybe your hot side is way too hot? Do you have a thermostat?

    yes i have a thermostat he is now on the hot side.

    Mine go back and forth with no apparent pattern or anything all the time.

    Mine too, sometimes he'll switch a few times a night. As long as your temps are correct and constant your BP will decide where he needs to be, no need to worry.
