So I've had them sitting in a 6qt tub in front of the rack for about an hour or so. I tried feeding them and only one actually ate. The two that would just strike at the f/t did it a few times to the live rats, what's going on here?

Should I go with just throwing the rats in the tubs and shutting the tubs? or present with tongs?
The rats are small enough where they couldn't do any damage, but I still wouldn't leave them; I'm just saying shut the tub so the snake doesn't know I'm staring at him lol.

    give ideas, lots of ideas

I'm confused by the last sentence, can you please explain? Two of the four struck at the FT but did not eat? Did you make sure the FT was warm? Did they strike and coil but not eat, or just defensively strike?

    Trevor,
I bet if you put the rat in the tub, and leave it in there for about an hour, it will magically disappear.

Yep! If I have one that goes on a hunger strike, I'll just throw a live Fuzzy or a small Pup in there and within 10 min, the rat is either gone or is recieving a "bear hug" from the snake.
