AAARRRRGGGHHHH...... Race Day

I hate race day. You get up at 5am just so you can eat something and chug some caffeine, then you attempt to not throw up (cause you have a race in 3 hours) and now I'm getting ready to go pack the car and drive to the race where I will be forced to put on 'the game face' in a blatant attempt to score the slightest competitive advantage. We won't even get into how cold the damn water is (I love snowmelt). :oops:

Worse, it's the first real race of the season and my arch enemy will be racing, as well. I would appreciate any and all prayers toward some immediate misfortune befalling her.

OY. Wish me luck.

Close. I wiped on the bike. Well, 5 of us wiped together.
Still, if those other 3 adolescent twits hadn't coasted in ahead of me, I'd be gleeful, rather than glad it's over. Bumped off the podium yet again. But, an extra incentive to get back to training. one month till the next race. ;)

I'll post a couple of pics after I sleep for about 3 hours..... :sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

And yes, STEVE, the kids are still safely tucked in their beds, although I did separate them for their upcoming debut.
