OOOH!!! Look what I saw this morning!

I have a gravid girl I check every morning before I go to work. This is what I saw this morning

I'm so excited, she has started to lay and this will be my first clutch ever.

Now I have a question, about how long will it take her to lay all her eggs? I'm estimating she will drop 5-6, and I have to catch a plane today and will be gone for the weekend. If she's not done by around 2pm today, will the eggs be okay over the weekend? I'm back on Sunday. The incubator is fired up and ready to go, but I don't want to bother her until she's dropped them all.

Eh, well hopefully she lays them before you leave!

If she has three out already, then I think she will finish before you have to leave. Congrats on the clutch!

I candled them all, and they look great. Here's the new mommy, down to 1435 grams. The clutch weighed about 650 grams. She looks so tiny now!

Whew, at least now I don't have to worry all weekend!
