    Food too large?
This is my second feeding since I have owned my bp and I just want to make sure Im not feeding him too big of food yet... I figured he wouldnt eat it if its too big but I have learned I guess they will still try and eat it and can hurt themselves... Either way he has taken both feedings like a champ. This time he looked the mouse straight in the eyes before the strike it was very surreal..

btw the reason there is no substrate right there is that is where his water bowl goes but i took it out for feeding..

Looks OK to me. I wouldn't go bigger for a little bit but I think that would be fine for now.

Probably a little on the large size, like Andrew said, dont go any bigger, and you should be ok.

General rule of thumb is to shoot for something the same width as the snake.

I thought they were a little big... He seems to do alright with them though, im just glad he has such a great appetite.

Since they are a little big for him I'll spread of the feedings out over a few more days until he gets a little bigger.

I don't know how often you're feeding, but I'd stick to every 7 days!

I was planning every 5 but now im spreading it out to every 7. He missed 1 week of feeding because he was shedding but other than that I plan to keep it regular. Thank guys
