WOOOOoooo HOOOoooo!!

Just got an e-mail from my :love: HUBBY!!! :love: I knew he left Kabul (Afghanistan) today and expected him to be home within a week or so. But it turns out his flight scheduling is progressing MUCH faster and easier than he ever dreamed...and (so long as everything stays on schedule) he should be home TOMORROW NIGHT!!!

I'd do a little smiliey party congo dance thingy...but none of them come anywhere close to expressing my giddiness at the moment, nor the frantic feeling of needing to get the house cleaned up and all in order for him! (Not that I'm stressing about that at all because just having him home is all I care about...but there's still LOTS to do!) So, needless to say, I may not be online much at all for the next few days....first catching up on all the little things and then after that, just being WITH him.

Judy - I'm so incredibly excited for you! You weathered the "storm" of him being gone with grace and dignity - not something I believe I would have been able to do had I been in your shoes!

Thank him for us when he gets home for his service, and thanks to YOU for being there for him and holding down the home front so that he didn't have to worry about home and could keep himself focused on the task at hand to complete his mission! :salute:

Cool! I remember the post of when your hubby was being sent off on short notice. I knew how hard it hit you when he got the word. Yet you knew this is what he does, this is what he wants to do and that the pride you take in the honor and respect your hubby does for his country and the safety in which he helps provide is beyond words.

Hehe, I can just see Judy and the kids just TACKLING Dean when he appears! YAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAYAY!

You give that man of yours all our thanks and you go spend your time with him and those wonderful kids of yours. I know we are all just thrilled for your family to be back together again after this long time apart. You've done something, my friend, that not many women can do and you've faced it with the kind of strength that simply blows me away.
