Screen Resolutions?

What are a few different common screen resolutions? I need 2 or 3 very common ones suggested :P I'm going to be turning a few of my shots into desktop backgrounds, to offer for download, and kind of need to know :oops:

Also, which images would you all most want to see as a desktop?

Mine is 1280 x 1024

Mine at home is something rediculous. Like 1280 by 3000 or something stupid like that. LOL

I have 1280 x 1024 at work.

My laptop is a widescreen, 1280 x 800.

I know a lot of people use 1024 x 768 also.

This is what I use at work.

I told my bf about this post and he pulled up this link. There is a poll where people said what specs their PCs have. Near the bottom of the polls (or about 1/2 way down the page) is "main display resolution". The answers might be slightly skewed towards higher end stuff, since it is a techie site, but it should still give you a good idea.

To summarize, 1680x1050 was most popular, followed closely by 1280x1024.

You might also want to look at the poll just up from resolution, which is aspect ratio.

Mine is 1280 x 1024
