    Man the bulb in my room burned out right now and I grabbed a flashlight to see what I was doing and I decided to look at my snakes and let me tell you snakes hate flash lights. Every single one struck at me/the glass when I shined the light in there tanks. hehe (note to self flash lights very stressful to snakeys.)

    Get a red lense and they don't seem to notice the flashlight as much.

    I use a flashlight all the time and none of my snakes have ever stuck at it...weird.

    The bp and boa are usually like "hey, that's bright you know..." and do nothing. The burm and corn just hope I'm bringing them food...but then they ALWAYS hope that. :P ;)

    I was just curious so I tried it again with my red tail and sure enough she struck. Oh well I guess they dont like them.

    Heh, I use a flashlight to check temp readings at night with my snakes and most of them either freeze or flinch away from the light. I've taken to cupping my hand around the end to pinpoint direct the light right onto the thermometers. :)

    Its no big deal I just found it funny thats all. My red tail seems the worst.
