    what do the eggs feel like? Are they hard or kinda soft?

    I was surprised that the eggs where soft and leatherly feeling. I was SO afraid I was going to hurt one when I moved them from mom to the incubator.

    :D Soft, but firm.

    When the babies get bigger in the egg, you can feel them inside. It's a trip!!! :snake: :D

    When immediately laid - kind of greasy and soft.
    When they harden a bit - soft and leathery, but firm.
    10 days before hatching - smooth and thin as the enzymes begin to break down.
