    Enclosure size
I just moved and down sized my ball python collection. I use to have a rack with tubs and never really had many feeding problems at all. But now I have just kept a few morphs and I have them set up in more of a dislpay around my man-cave. All are doing great but my pastel, who is in a large bophile cage.

He use to eat everything you put in front of him, but now he is a problem feeder big time. I know the cage is to big for him but I got a steal and wanted to use them hoping he would grow into it. I have a nice hide in there and he is always inside of it. I mean he has really only eatten twice since with alot of refusals. When the rest are pounding once a week. Is the enclosure to big ?

You just said yourself that you know the enclosure is too big. Try something smaller for a month or two and see what happens.

You said yourself that the cage is too big. You know the answer. Now, for solutions.... Try a lot more hides. You mentioned having one, but I'm sure you have a least two. Try adding more. You can also try filling the cage with paper to give more of a closed in feeling. Add plants. Did I mention about adding more hides? haha! BTW, how big is your snake and how big is the cage?

How long has it been? If its just been a week or so i would give him more time just let him settle in and dont handle him. maybe try leaving a f/t in there at night and when you're not around he might take it that works for me with my pickiest one. good luck.
