    My black milk
So here's my new black milk. I just got him on thursday from Mike and Isis and Isis Reptiles in Ventura. Good people, amazing prices too. He's really fiesty. He's the first milk snake I've ever been around, and the youngest too, so I don't know if he's more fiesty than usual. But he's has spent most of the last two days hiding under his substrate in his new tub. Here are some pictures I managed to get yesterday.

YAY! Welcome to the black milk club. :D He looks like he may be going into shed. (Either that or the camera dulls his colors) so that could be why he's hiding so much. Mine only hides when he's in shed. Otherwise, he sits on top of the substrate with his head sticking halfway out into the open.

Mine is also very skittish and wiggly, though he's gotten better since I've been handling him. He calms down once he's been in my hands for a minute.

Good call. He finally found his hide, I found him in it today. He's definitely going into shed; his eyecaps are getting pretty blue, and he looks really dull now. I'll try to get a pic now then after to compare.
