what to pair with a pewter...
I have a pewter male on the way. What would you recommend breeding him to? I have five female lemon pastels that will be ready in 2010. Should I plan on using these, breeding to normals or look for a cinnamon? Thanks

I felt like I saw a lemon pewter somewhere and adored it, but now I can't find a picture! I love anything and everything to do with pewters :)
Probably even a normal would be a great breeder, since they're double het for co-dom traits, so you can get all kinds of morphs even when pairing with a normal

A pastel would be sweet.....make more pewters, super pastels, and sterlings (super pastel pewter)...

The marginal gain of using a pastel over a normal in this case seems really high...I'd definitely go with the pastel over a normal.
