    Feeding Tip
Last night I gave Mila her after-shed meal. She wouldn't eat the two small thawed mice I placed in her cage. I thought maybe they were too big and I had four fuzzies left in the freezer (less than a month old, I throw away frozen prey after 30 days). I thawed those in the warm water while keeping them dry like I usually do.
She quickly struck one off of the tongs before I could set it down and began the constricting and swallowing. It was in motion and she took it out like a sniper.
She ate four fuzzies (with striking and constriction).
I quickly realized why she didn't eat the first two small mice. They weren't too small. They weren't warm enough. I had left them in there and she smelled them, but ignored them. The fuzzies had just come out of the bag that was soaking in the hot water. They were warm. I think next time I'll let the small mice sit longer (due to the fact that they're bigger and denser than the fuzzies). As soon as that fuzzy dashed by her pits he was gone! It was awesome. Apparently, she likes her zombie dance now. It didn't take her no time to strike. She even left me the tail on the tongs on one of them. lol

Anyway, I just thought I'd post this little learning experience that I had last night with her for any of you that may be having trouble feeding for the same or similar reason(s). Late. :gj:
