    New Rat Rack
Thanks to Deborah for her rat rack design and her DIY. Well here is one of 4 racks. It turned out pretty good. I did change the casters I didn't use the same ones that are in the DIY. So the bottom looks a bit funky but it works. I have 3 females in each tub. I have enough rats to fill up 2 more racks with 3 females each. I can now start getting rid of the tanks.

It holds 6 jumbo cat litter pans. I might change to a water system when I get all the racks finished not sure. Thanks for looking.

It was about 202.00 I had to buy all the wood tubs and water bottles. And the hardware cloth. 202.00 was what it cost to build 2 of them. I had the screws, staples stuff like that so might be a bit more if you have to buy all that. Also cost of wood may be a bit higher or lower depends on where you get it I guess.

    For two racks
    Wood and stuff 91.22
    24 water bottles 31.00
    12 tubs 79.00

Wood and stuff I got from the local hardware store. The tubs I got online and water bottles off ebay. So there was shipping with thoses.

Very nice rack... you will be amazed at the time saved when using these. I would definately consider an automatic watering system... I love mine and couldn't imagine going back to water bottles again!

I was thinking about it but I should only have 24 bottles so not that big of a deal. I was going to do the water system. I didnt want to have to worry about adding bleach to the water. Or it getting plugged up with crap. Then you also have to worry about floods. I might go to one someday but with the number of racks Ill have going I dont think Ill need it right now.

I should have said the prices for the bottles and tubs were with the shipping.
